Works Consulting will assist in updated County Engineers roadway needs study

February 28, 2000 -- Phoenix Arizona -- Task Engineering, Inc. (e-mail: task@primenet.com) announced today that the Arizona Association of County Engineers (AACE) www.azace.org selected the team comprised of Task Engineering and Works Consulting, LLC (www.gisworks.com) to update the Roadway Needs Study that assesses the cumulative funding needs of county-maintained roads across Arizona.

This chosen team is the same group that performed the original Roadway Needs Study in 1994 and the 1997 update to the original study.  Mr. Ken Howell, P.E., will manage the transportation planning and economic aspects of the study update.

The study is scheduled to be completed for a September 1, 2000 delivery to the Governor's Transportation Vision 21 Task Force (http://www.dot.state.az.us/vision21/) for Arizona's long range transportation plan.
