Works Consulting will assist in BRW in La Mesa (California) Traffic Signal Study

April 6, 2000 -- Phoenix Arizona -- Works Consulting LLC (www.gisworks.com) announced today that it has entered into a contractual agreement with BRW, Inc. A Dames & Moore Group Company (www.brwinc.com) to provide database and geographic information services to the Public Works Department of the City of La Mesa, California.

The effort will be a small portion of BRW's larger effort toward providing a strategic plan for further development of La Mesa's advanced traffic management system.  Works will integrate traffic signal field inventories collected by BRW into a Microsoft Access inventory tracking system.  The products will include integration of Works' robust linear referencing technology to allow City staff to exploit the full range of benefits that GIS offers for a transportation agency.
