Works Consulting provides GIS-based data gathering and
cartographic assistance to transportation planning activities. By
integrating the GIS data collection process as part of the study, additional
perspectives are provided to the planners during the course of analysis.Capabilities
Planners can have immediate access to available GIS datasets through Works
Consulting's internet map services - set up at
the beginning of the study. Map layout and cartographic design can be
centralized collaborative efforts of all study participants, including the
client.
Dissemination to study participants can be supplemented by the free ArcReader
(similar to Acrobat Reader) utility and a CD-ROM packed with GIS data and map
layouts.
